From the first page, you are totally rooting for this little boy. Throughout the book, you continue to root for him as he becomes a young man. The hardships that this child had to endure are shocking. His faith and resilience are astounding. I’m so happy that the author was able to share his story and help people that are in similar situations realize that profound faith and conviction can carry you through. A definite must read. I couldn’t put it down.
This book gets you from the first page and it is so real. It is a gripping story about survival. It breaks your heart. How the world let this young boy down. He never gives up and he keeps on finding a way to push through the darkness. I highly recommend this book. So real!!
This book was amazing and I've never read a book as fast as this one. It is unbelievable what he endured in his life and what he's been able to accomplish and rise above it all. This made me think back to childhood and being to quick to pass judgement on someone without know the pain and abuse going on behind closed doors.
